All of this swim stuff doesn't sound like too much, and it wasn't for me last year, but after working a full day of teaching (7:20am - 3:00pm)... then staying for practices til about 6 pm, it adds up to being at the school almost 10-11 hours each day! Yesterday on my way home, a colleague asked "when do you live?"... my response "I don't". Needless to say I am really looking forward to Christmas! It will be 3 weeks in the US, with all my time focused on family and friends.
Now you may ask, well what about Thanksgiving break? That is coming up soon. While you are right and we are technically out of school for that Thursday and Friday, it just so happens to be required of all the teachers to attend the ICEC (International Christian Educator's Conference) for BOTH days. We will be picked up by school bus at a whopping 5:50 am each morning, and will travel down to Suwon for the conference. We will not be returning home until at least 7pm each night, seeing as the conference doesn't end til 6pm. --- You may understand why I'm not really looking forward to Thanksgiving "break".
Now, I am not trying to be pessimistic about all of this, but I really am looking forward to Christmas.
Here are a few of the things, besides family and friends that I am looking forward to:

and this is just the beginning....
I'll try to to wait as long on the next post.
I'll be home for Christmas..... in 4 1/2 weeks!!!
I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
