Danny Came to Visit!

Danny (Tim's big brother) came to Korea at the of September. The main purpose of his visit was to present a research paper at an international Urology convention at the COEX, here in Seoul. It didn't hurt, that we live here! We had a great time. He arrived early Sunday morning, and did not sleep upon his arrival.

Danny stayed awake talking to Tim. We took him on a tour around our dong (neighborhood), and then headed to church. After church we walked to the Olympic Park, where there just so happened to be a Design Fair going on, which allowed us to go inside the stadium. On Monday Danny was at the conference and gave his presentation. Monday evening he came back to our house and went to darts with us (oh, Tim and I are in an international dart league). On Tuesday Danny hung out with Tim at school. Wednesday he went back to the conference. Then on Thursday Tim took the day off and showed Danny around Seoul. They went to Namdaemun, Meyongdong, and then to a Jim-ju-bong (kinda like a spa with several different rooms, some are saunas, some are salt rooms where you use salt to exfoliate your skin). On Friday Danny came to school with us, and then left that afternoon.

We had a great time! I am glad Danny got the opportunity to travel abroad to see us, I know Tim really enjoyed his time with his big brother. Now... to get some other family members out here to visit....
